Here's Big Red at 13 weeks. Any chance for this to be a pullet? Or should I give up hope now? He/She is very docile, and hasn't crowed, but there's two more roosters in the coop/run.

I thought roo at first glance but it does have a pullets carriage and shorter leggs, like a pullet. Do you have pics of anyothers the same age ? I want to lean more towards roo right now since it is only around 3 mos old, but if it were older I would think it was a pullet.

She is most definatly a hen. I have hens at 12 weeks of age and roos 12 weeks and my roos have much larger combs and wattles and my hens have the same size comb as yours do. Happy egg laying in a few weeks!

Yeah you guys are probably right, the comb just looks a little too big for a 3 month old pullet but the body shape carriage is screaming pullet.

Oh my, what great news!! I will update again in a little while. Big Red has been a tricky one -- the only regular sized chick I got at the TSC, i.e. the only Rhode Island or Red Sex Link or whatever. I always thought girl, but "she" always looked more boy than my other chickens: the waddle and comb and then the tail feathers not being round and even like the others. Well, sure hope you guys are right. THanks so much!

Looks just like my Hen Drumstick! Just posted a photo of her in my post!

They look the same to me - I say HEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks pretty girly to me... the comb is a lot bigger than my RSLs who are 16 weeks though, and the feathers are a little darker. Never seen a RIR of that age, but I think maybe that is what she is?
