Hey Everyone
I have 4 chickens, and I gave them a quarter of the grease that was left over in the pan from 4 lbs of cooked hamburger. We estimated that it was cooked in about 1 and a half TABLESPOON of avocado oil. This means that each chicken would have consumed about a quarter to half a TEASPOON of the oil (approx). I remembered why I had the gut feeling to not give it to them once they were almost done with what I gave them. I remembered reading about avocados and chickens before.
This happened about an hour ago, no symptoms, everyone is fine. I cooked them two eggs and put approx 3 capsules of Activated Charcoal on it and gave it to them. They gobbled that down like fiends. Is there anything else I can do? What symptoms should I be watching for? Has anyone else done this and had nothing happen?
