How much fluid does an adult rooster need in 12 hours, trying to nurse him back to health

Recovering rooster won't drink enough on his own so I help him while he's on my lap. I don't want to over do it so I'm looking for a general reference.
He is a Lavender Orpington about 9-11 pounds.

Found it for anyone interested the range is between 237 to 474 ml about (1 to 2 cups) depending on conditions

How's your rooster? Did you manage to get him healthy again?

Yes he did, I've posted about him a couple of times since. It took a lot longer than I thought. He seemed "dethrowned" for quite a while didn't crow or hang with the girls, but his limp finally went away and he started to crow and strolls around with his harem seems like himself again. I'll post a vid of him today.
