Hey guys! I really need your help. I have three 4 week chicks which i incubated and hatched myself. Our little new hampshire red chick up until 3 days ago was the strongest a feistiest. However she suddenly became very lethargic and attached to the brooder. It’s gotten progressively worse so we separated her from the other two. I’m really not sure what’s wrong with her. She wants to sleep all the time, yet she still walks out to get food and water sometimes. does anyone have any idea on how to help?! i’m pretty attached to this one :(

I wanted to add that I gave her some warm honey water but all she wanted to do was stand in it. she looks very out of it i’m worried. she did perk up a little when I took out the other girls but is now asleep again.

You don't say where you are. Is it Hot there? It's very hot here already, over 100 degrees. Your chick may be too hot? Have you supplied chick grit? They do need that to grind their food for digestion. If the others are ok, it could be an illness that one chick has. Do you have any other information on symptoms, what you are feeding, etc?
