Trying to incubate abandoned duck eggs

Hi everyone,

I know their chances are extremely slim, but I want to do an effort on my part to give them life.

On March 20th 2020, I noticed a mama duck had laid 6 eggs right at my front door’s hedges.

I believe she would’ve finished the clutch by March 25th or so, with a total of 12 eggs.

Around April 10th (15 days later) I noticed the duck wasn’t there anymore, and the eggs weren’t visible but under the nest covered.

The duck never came back, and I looked in all the ponds nearby. 2 days later the eggs were uncovered and one had a peck crack and one was in pieces near the nest. It had been attacked by another bird.

Around April 15th or so, I took the eggs in and put them in a temporary box under a lamp with a damp towel around it (not touching the eggs). I ordered an incubator.

The incubator arrived and I put the eggs in at 99.5 and 50% humidity and have been turning them.

The peck cracked egg has leaked into the incubator, and the rest of them look sort of blue. There is a smell, but it’s not unbearable it’s like egg smell not as rotten.

I’ve never done this before and I want to make sure I do everything to save them.

I’ve also tried to candle them, I don’t see any veins but it’s like completely dark and there are air sacs, I really can’t tell though.
