Long story short, it is my first time hatching and my incubator died around day 16 and I had 6 eggs in there.
I was going to toss and try again but one egg wiggled in the float test so I kept them next to a heater with a thermometer at a stable 97.5 F with some wet sponges.
The chick popped yesterday at 2pm so it has been about 30 hours now, however it has popped from the pointy end of the egg which I believe is the wrong way round. I peeled a bit of shell away to make it easier for it to move its beak.
I have attached a video for advice on what to do, I would ideally like to save this chick as it is the only one left. It has survived a lot already (only one out of 12 eggs and still has a lot of energy).
