Week 1
I had two chicks hatch 3 weeks ago now. One is healthy and the other was doing well until she was beaten up pretty badly. All of the feathers were pecked off her chest and she was bloodied. That's when I noticed she couldn't stand on one leg anymore and her toes were curled on that foot.

Week 2
I moved her to a separate pen, she healed up but her leg hasn't. It's not spraddle leg because she didn't have that as a chick. I thought it may have been a slipped tendon for awhile, but she can straighten her bad leg on her own so I ruled that out. I tried treating her for vitamin deficiencies, put a vitamin B complex in her water. I've also been feeding her some hard boiled eggs and greens.

Week 3
Her toes did mostly uncurl, but now it's going on week 4 and she seems to be getting worse again. She's starting to drag the bad leg around, or stick it awkwardly out to one side when she used to tuck it under herself and I'd watch her stretch her leg and toes out on occasion.

Could her hip be dislocated? Or has she gotten too old to recover from whatever it is she has? When I manipulate that leg the hip joint is very loose, there's no resistance. Anyone have experience with something like this?
