So my oldest girls are getting ready to lay as they are 14 1/2 weeks old and their combs and wattles are turning real red!

So excited! The other great news is that my 7 and 9 week old birds are integrated with the main flock ...yeay!!

Now the question ... when my older girls start laying, I am hoping there is a feed that I can give them along with a oyster or egg shell additive that will work for both the young one and old ones.... Please Help

Well grower or an all flock will work with a mixed age flock. As you probably know young pullets not yet laying don't need the calcium in layer. in fact it does damage to their kidneys. And side dish for the calcium supplement will work for the ones laying. When the youngest reach the POL you can switch to layer.

Thanks, Den ... it's weird how my grain mill only sells medicated starter and layer ... so TSC will be where I buy grower until they are all laying ...
