Columbian Rock X (X) Silver Grey Dorking Chicks

Columbian Rock X hen and Silver Grey Dorking Rooster chicks! Anyone else have a similar mix? They are supposed to be great egg layers, I guess we'll find out soon enough. Do you guys think they can be sexed the same way Silver Grey Dorking chicks can (females have the darker V on head)?

I'm assuming since they are mixed breeds, that sexing method will not work. Wait and post pics when they are 6-8 weeks old.
