I've been wanting a new incubator just to be able mainly to hatch more eggs without going full commercial style so I read and read reviews about the 4250. They're basically like all incubators there's good and bad. My old one is the same style just has the analog dials on top these new ones comes factory set and all digital. I've been calibrating my instruments the last few days and can say they're all reading pretty steady the same. I have not set a single egg in this new one yet but Saturday it will get its first 42 eggs. I'm mainly writing this in case someone like me is on the fence about how good it is and worth the 150 bucks. I'll keep this thread posted through the incubating and hatching process but so far so good with instrument read outs. And yes I'm an electrician and have access to plenty of black tape. :D

Following. I just bought this myself, now I have to find somewhere to get eggs.
You could try your local Craigslist, OfferUp, Facebook Marketplace, etc. They sometimes have people selling fertile eggs. Safer bet with higher chance of hatch rate compared to shipped eggs.

I've had 17 turkey eggs in it for little over a week. The temp on the bator and incutherm are basically .5 degree off but the humidity on the bator gauge reads 10% lower than actual. With the bator empty all 3 readouts were the same. So definitely get another set of gauges calibrated to use.

I've been looking around for weeks, no one local has breeds I want, or if they do, I have other concerns about them. There are a few within 2-ish hour drive that I haven't contacted yet.

Where are the probes at? Could there be air stratification? The humidity probe cable on the incubator isn't very long, I would expect the heater to interfere with it's reading a bit. Eggs give off humidity too. If they all recover at the same rate after you've opened it up or added water, then they're all working okay and you have an air pocket or stratification. As long as they're all reading above your wanted minimum, are stable, and not dangerously close to too much humidity, I'd call it okay. There's not really much more you can do.

Sitting pretty close proximity to each other. The incutherm was calibrated i go by that I never go by the bator gauges.
