15 day fertile eggs

I have some 15 day old fertile eggs. Was wondering what I should be seeing when I candle them. This is my first hatching.

Day 15 should be awsome for you

you should be able to see the chicks eyes an some of its body parts , an you can see it move around when you candle the egg

all of mine are at day 11 an I can see this,even thru my dark brown eggs,which thats the only color eggs i have in the bator now.

See their eyes? You must have an x-ray machine, let alone a candler! You'll see a large dark mass taking up most of the egg. You should see some veins too and as Awall said, movement (but not always).

Almost x-ray, I have a 120 watt home made candler, I made out of a flood light,and a foam cooler,with the help of the almighty duct tape,I cut the hole presice to fit my hens eggs, at a angle, so theres no light escaping around the eggs, an the help with a medium size spy glass,I CAN COUNT THE VEINS IN THE EGGS,(HONESTLY)

I hatch chicks to sell, so i dont play around on waiting to see if they are good eggs, usually by day 4 I can see if they are good or bad.
