15 week Buff Orphington...hen or roo

Ok, by 15 weeks I thought I was in the clear for any accidental Roos. I’m starting to get nervous about my “pullet” BO though. S/he had a small non existent pink comb/face up until a couple weeks ago. Everything turned red and grew FAST! It’s my only BO so I have nothing to compare it to. Is it crazy to assume she’s just maturing fast and a few weeks from laying as opposed to being a Roo?? We can’t have one and my daughter will be crushed if she’s a he!

I'm not an expert but I'd say pullet, my Buff Orpington cockerel started developing the pointed saddle feathers at about 13 weeks.

I think pullet as well! I remember that mine seemed to grow a huge/bright comb and wattles overnight.
