So I give my chickens watermelon. They adore it. They will eat it all day. But when I walk up to their run, and kneel next to them to see them eating the watermelon, I always find that they back up, and start doing other things. Like pecking in the grass, and going in the coop. But then when I leave they start eating the watermelon again. This isn’t really a big deal, I was just curious!
and take it away from them.
