out of 28 eggs set. tomorrow i must turn off the auto turner and boost the humidity

but what do i boost it to? 80% 85% 75%??

vent all the way open or half open???

so eggcited!!!!

I would go no higher than 75% on the humidity. If you are in a humid area, I would actually go even lower. If you can leave the vent all the way open and maintain temp/humidity, that is what I would do. More fresh air in is good.

IMO, I do not go above 70%. I found I have more hatch if I don't go above that. Sometimes I think to much is not a good thing. I like to dry hatch mine, I do better with that. Good luck

well 6 hours to go and the turner goes off and the humidity goes up....

im bouncing around with excitement, i just want it to be over so i can see my little babies!

going into lockdown are...8 araucana, 2 mechelse koekoek, 4 chabo and 2 olive eggers (maransxee)

im pretty positive & marans and 6 araucana were growing well but they were difficult to see through so i kept them all in the 'bator just in case...

roll on friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I shoot for 65% at lockdown, it usually jumps to around 75 when the first chick hatches. Good luck and don't forget the pics!

I've had mine at 68-70% and with each one that hatches it goes up to 75% I vent a little to about 70-71 %. I find that when it goes to about 75% you get condensation on the windows. Which could cause a lot of condensation in egg cell and drown your chicks. good luck have a great hatch
