I am taking my DS to Walt Disney next month so I have to stop setting eggs after this week for a while in order to not have hatches happening while I am gone. Because of this I will be offering eggs from my lavender a PI project pens. The pens consist of 2 lav roos, 1 pi roo, 2 buff hens, 2 gray sg hens, 1 black hen, 1 splash/lav split hen, 3 lav hens, and 1 pi hen.

I am hatching out pure lavenders and spits and possibly Porcelain Isabelle as well. I has been a long road with poor hatches until this past month where I am finally seeing good hatches from the flocks. I have a bunch hatching right now and will take some new pics once I can open the bator.

My Lavenders are from Bren and my PI pair is from George M. directly. My buffs are from Sundownwaterfowl, and sg from Angie.

This is a project pen so I do not claim all chicks will be perfect nor can I guarantee how many pure lavs you will hatch but you will get at least 6 pure lav eggs as well as splits.

I will begin collection a few days before end of auction. Shipping is $15 and if you want insurance it is an extra $2 because I can not replace if the box is lost or very damaged unless you get insurance. I will pack the box very well see this thread for my technique. https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=289676

Here
are some pics they are old (taken when still cockerels and pullets) as I have not taken new photos of them in many months since I was not using them for auctions until now and this is only because I am going away.

no way sorry I have been waiting to hatch out these chicks since september, my roo had severe head trauma and it took months to fix him, then months for fertility then another few months watching eggs develope but not hatch it is only this last clutch that has yeilded several and my best lavs I am hoping that all future hatches will be equally as good. I can say that the 3 bators are full and development is good. I will be hatching as many as I can minus this trip I am taking, to build up my flocks but once I have hatched enough and am satisfied lol I will then be offering them.

here are some chicks from todays hatch there are a few more still in the bator. Not sure what the darker one is maybe a black/lav split or from one of the sg either way its half lav now

Now what AHappychick didn't mention is how smart and friendly one of the lav hens are. She flies, or hops, over gates and she's just the sweetest little silkie.

OMG did I just call a silkie sweet?
