So I am getting ready to order 6 months worth of feed. This is the first time I have ordered it (normally mu mom does it and I just get bags from her). But I am not sure what the difference would be between getting the 16% and 20%. Which would be "better" for the laying hens? We have been getting the 16% so I am inclined to stay with that, but would there be a benefit from spending a little more for the 20%?

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated!

The difference is that the 20% allows you to feed other things without worrying as much about them not getting enough protein for eggs. It b also helps with feather growth during molt to have the extra protein.
