Also just a question if one of my roosters is grabbing the crest of an unknown bird I don’t know if it’s male or female does that mean it’s trying to made it or is it like aggression towards another rooster. Here are the comb pics

The second one I suspect is a cockerel based on comb.

I've had cockerels mount each other. It's a dominance thing.
Females will mount each other for dominance also.

I forgot, how many months is 17 weeks?

Really I thought it was the other way around I thought the first one would be the male
It's hard to tell 100% with your pictures, #2's comb looks larger, & has little horns on it.

A good way to tell is to wait to see which one crows, & which one lays an egg. Your's are on the tricky side.

At 17 weeks I would expect to see more obvious streamers on the males. I'm thinking yours are likely both pullets given the absence of obvious streamers, and the relatively small/flat combs for their age. :)

I hope they’re both girls to I have a bunch of roosters I need to rehome already I don’t need more :barnie
