17 weeks old and I found our FIRST EGG!!!!

My flock of 12 chicks are just turning 17 weeks old, so i dident expect to walk out and find a egg! But this morning I did! SO surprised!
Is this something that will be regular, or because they are so young, is it a fluke???
The egg is pretty good size, medium size compared to store bought sizes. and the shell was a light brown and very solid!
It was super cute because I forgot to close their worm bucket/compost bin last night and the egg was laying in it
