18 week old SLW

Is this a rooster? It’s 18 weeks old and I’m assuming the long feathers at the back are saddle feathers and the greenish tail mean rooster. Not crowing yet

That is a cockerel. I would say moreso the red comb/wattles and the saddle feathers (white kinda pointy feathers at the base of the tail) rather than the sheen on the tail itself (which most black feathers will get in the right light : D) Although I'm confident thats a boy, so either hooray if you wanted one or sorry if you didn't/can't keep him :'(

He is so gorgeous! My observation holds true again, 90% of the time when someone posts a bird of above average quality, they're not from the US and it stands strong with him
