My original flock is now about 18 weeks.
All BO.

This one in the 1st pic...he's not crowing...but that tail ... roo? He's also got a few more of the "colored feathers" (see pic 2) on his tail than anyone else.

Second pic is a close up (the best I could get) of some "discolored feathers" on a few chicken butts running around. It's only 1 or 2 tail feathers on a few girls...is it just dusty/dirty from playing in the garden? Or is it a feathers colonization? No dry or stuck on poo or anything...just the feathers are discolored.

3rd is just some of my other girls for comparison.

Thanks!!

Thanks!!

I'm having the same issue with my 15weeks and 5 days bird
It's gender is just brain tackling,
looks like hen
chatty like hen
height like roo
loud like roo
No saddle or hackle
Then to top the confusion,it's very aggressive towards his flock mates including the male broiler who's the boss fears him

Pullet. Some are tall, some are short. Some are loud, some even crow. Some are little monsters and mean as all get out. Some even spar.
