I have 11 Barred Rock pullets that hit 19 weeks yesterday!! I'm so excited to see and hear them laying that I can barely stand it!! I can't wait to see them laying in the nest boxes!!
We just got back from a week long trip and I'm trying to clean out the camper and do laundry while still trying to hear the cackling....
Hopefully I'll just be out there when one starts!
I've noticed that now they range with the other hens. They used to just hang out around the coop while the hens and rooster wandered. Today, they are out running with the big "dogs"-so to speak!!
