As you can imagine I am super excited!

Do I need to move her or can I just keep her in the coop?

She is on the one nest that we have, they only use the one and not the other one we have. I hope that they other girls will lay in the other one while she is on her eggs.

If I do move her inside, how much light, heat and all that does she need.

If I do need to move her it wont be a problem as I can just pick up the nest box with her in it.

Thanks!

Also,
Do I need to clean out the box regularly since she is going to the bathroom in it? I dont want anything to hurt the chicks, so should I maybe transfer her to a new clean one?

Congratulations!! I am going through the same experience right now and this is my first broody hen. She is a Buff Orpington. I have all 6 of my chickens in my coop and I noticed that the other hens were trying to move my Buff off the eggs to lay or sit on. I did not want her to be disturbed by the other hens so I made a small screened in enclosure with in the coop and added her own water and food dish. She looks much happier now and the other hens can not disturb her.

I would make sure that the area is as clean as possible with out getting her upset. I thought about moving her inside on my patio and building a new enclosure but so far the last 3 days have been good. I hope it works out for you..
