1st brown egg!!!

Came home today and found our first brown egg!!!! We have some white leghorns that have been laying about a week now and they are almost 16 weeks old. Not sure which one did it, but one of our RIR girls layed their first egg!! Our RIR's are younger than the leghorns! They seem to be laying pretty early but the egg looked great!

Wowee - congrats! Mine didn't start laying until around 20 weeks. I love the brown eggs from my BR's.

Discovering their first egg has been laid is so exciting.

Awesome. I got two first eggs today also. From my leghorns still waiting on brown ones from our buffs and green ones from our EE congrats I love when they start laying.
