This is a picture of our first hatch. So far 4 out of 6 eggs hatched yesterday. The father is a Cochin Rooster and the mom is a Bard Rock. First pip yesterday at 11am and zipped 10 hours later. second one piped around 1:30am and was out when we came down at 6am. Three & Four didn't want to play the waiting game and both pipped and zipped in less than a half hour. Maybe because of all the noise the other two were making. Since I did use an automatic turner, at lock down I set them upright in cardboard rings made from paper towel tubes. The last two eggs are just sitting and they may be duds but we're going to wait a couple of days.
