1st time...Brinsea mini advance

I live in Hawaii, very high humidity. With no water in the wells, after running an hour or so the humidity inside stays around 45%, so I'm assuming not to add water until hatch to bring it up.

Also, the temp on the machine reads just 1 degree cooler than the thermometer/hydrometer I put inside. No adjustment needed for that 1 degree?

Thanks for any input, nervous as heck!
