One of our hens is foster hatching a clutch of guinea eggs. They are due to hatch this weekend and I am not sure what to do as this is my first time to do this the natural way. The hen and eggs are in a section of the coop (about a 18"X 30" space) blocked off from the others, but it is raised from the ground, so I can't just open the door and let the hen and babies out or they will fall. How many days do I wait to move mama and babies and what kind of area should I move them to? I have several other chickens and guineas, so I am not sure how secluded I have to have them. Also, our entire coop is off the ground with a ramp to get in and out, I don't know it little ones can maneuver it. I would like to keep the babies with the hen as long as possible, as I already have other keets in our brooder without a hen.
Thanks for any help.
