I have 2 geese. both are female both have grown up together and I do not want them to be separated. they love each other and are always together. I live outside San Diego CA. One is a Cotton Patch and one is a Toulouse. I have had them both since they were two days old and again they have been together since their first days. I am loosing my house and my babies must go. They are friendly to me and recognize me and really know no other people but me. Neither have ever attempted to bite or nip me or anyone. They are truely the best watch dogs ever. These girls are part of my heart and it breaks my heart to let them go but, life is changing rapidly and this has to happen. thes are avid foragers have always had grass to eat and chicken scratch as a supplement. They have neither one laid any egg yet but should happen soon.
I want these girls to go to loving forever homes with someone who knows geese and specifically these two breeds. NO you CANNOT mix these breeds with other breeds of geese, Toulouse are the breed that are the most mellowist ever and will get beat up if mixed with other breeds. My cotton patch is an endangered species and is a bit more spirited but loving as well. Both 6 months old. Respond here and I will answer as I can. thanks. Jim
