My husband purchased 2 Columbian Wyandotte chicks from a local farm store. They were listed as "Pullets" however, I know in some breeds of chickens you can actually sex them by their wing growth. One of the chicks clearly has longer, more prominent primary feather growth...seems the primary feathers on the other chick have not even grown in yet, should I be worried that this one is a male. I know that sexing is not 100% accurate, but I thought that only sex-link chicks could sexed using color and wing growth. Could I have gotten another rooster or could she just have slower growing wing feathers. I hope she is not a he.
