2 brahmas - pullets or roos?

asking on behalf of someone else.
2 young brahmas one 'brown' one 'black'..she'd like to know hens or roos?
these are the pics she sent. sorry only have one of the black one (its standing behind the brown one in first pic) pic 2 is the same chicken as pic 1

i thought the brown one was rooish but the black one a pullet? thought id ask here first to make sure

the blk. onehas a lighter face -not as red- Are they the same age? If so then I say pullet. Also does not have the comb like the other either.

It brown/buff one does look to be a rooster the black on might be a hen But there not Brahmas, but he could be a Brahma cross. Brahma have feathered feet and the coloring would a lot different ...
