I have 4 hens now and 1 rooster but peaches and shadow are both broody, in the same nest box. They are perfectly fine with each others presence and don't fight at all, they are sitting on no eggs at the moment and their nest box is pretty big (4ft by 4 ft and 3 feet high) its more like a tiny shed and they lay eggs wherever they want. Is it ok that they prefer to huddle up right next to each other? Thanks

It's not ideal. Every time I have broodies that pair up, something goes wrong, either broken eggs, cold eggs from them booting each other out or dead chicks

Could be wonderful, could be a disaster.
