2 chicks sneezing- 1 making clicking noises and losing new feathers!?

By the way, since you saw bad droppings and gave antibiotics (which - not at your fault but just by their nature - indescriminately kill good and bad bacteria) I'd make the trip to the pharmacy or health food store for the probiotics. Now that you're not giving antibiotics, you can use plain yogurt if it has live cultures in it. 1/2 teaspoon per cup of food - mixed in the food.

Thanks for all your advice I really didnt realize it was that big of a deal to stop anitbiotics. I'm actually a veterinarian assistant and I never really heard anything about stopping antibiotics- other meds, YES, but didnt realize antibiotics...I know not to give with dairy, I know if you give to frequently that its not good- can create resistance and kill good flora. Didnt realize the thing about 'lost effect'. My vet didnt say anything about it- just gave me thumbs up on the veterinary chinese herbs.

I am used to dogs/cats I feel stupid when it comes to chickens. I have a poultry veterinary handbook but it is really intended for the large flock owners, not pet keepers like me.

I will keep this updated- thanks for the info!
