I cannot believe it! One clucky chook. still clucky after 3 days in a cage, and now another one has started!! Is this catching? Or is there something in the water !!!!
Can I keep 2 chooks in the cage? It's a large, dog crate so easily fits two or more chooks. Will this cause more problems having two in there?

Some stubborn broody hens can take 5-7 days to break. It does seem to be contagious for other hens prone to going broody.

If the hens are compatible you can keep them together in the cage. Watch for bullying or fighting.

See if you can obtain some fertilised eggs to put under them!

That does not 'fix' the brooding - it actually encourages it, but that's its purpose, to raise baby chicks!
