I’m new to the chicken world. I have 2 black polish and have had them since they were tiny chicks. I wasn’t sure on gender until one started laying last week. Through discussions on this website, I discovered the other is a young rooster and my hens eggs are fertile. The last few days, she has been laying two eggs a day. It’s conceding to me because I have read that it isn’t normal or healthy for her. Im starting to worry and wondering what I can do?

I would say they’re somewhere around 20 weeks. Here’s a pic of both. One looks dyed a little on top due to blu-kote.

How strange. I must be wrong about both being hens. I’m newer to polish chickens, but my one rooster I had looked drastically different from the hens. Crazy rocker head feathers, shinny saddle feathers, ect.
