2 hatched this morning!

I saw pips and heard peeps late last night, and woke up to 2 little chicks this morning. They are currently living inside until their mother finishes the hatch, then they will go back to living with their mom.

Oh how cute! I am anxiously awaiting my first ever hatch! LOL... only 20 days to go. Congrats on such cute healthy fuzzy butts.

I'm not too happy with their leg color. I don't know how leg color genetics work...but their dad has nice blueish legs and the moms have greenish legs (not sure which moms they came from). I'm assuming it's something the rooster is throwing since the little one that didn't make it last week had a similar leg color. I think they all had different moms (I know these 2 had different moms), but the dad is the same.

Another one pipped overnight and is peeping away in its shell! Hopefully I'll have a new one to photograph by the end of the day.
