I feed and water early in the am. this morning I put out two water bowls, pellets, some cereal and some oatmeal. When I got home everyone was at the fence looking for more so since it was hot I gave more water and more pellets. I actually had a few minutes so I sat down to just enjoy them a bit. I've had them for almost a month and I think this is only maybe the second or third time I have had a chance to do this-I work three jobs. So everyone had eaten and was just milling about. when my wynadotte (spllng?)started attacking one of the orpingtons. no one has chicks.. I pull eggs daily-and they were not anywhere near the food and it wasn't empty even if they had been. They broke twice and went back each time. Eventually they stopped and I didn't see any blood but they seemed to have been pretty serious,,,really hanging on, wings flapping ect. I do have a roo so I wouldn't think it was them looking to be the boss-but I am a total newbie so at this point I suppose anything you all tell me is useful and the only behavior I have to go on is dogs....should I be worried about this?

Pecking order skirmishes happen upon occasion. As long as they are not causing physical damage to one another, let them work things out.
x2. Social hierarchy is fluid, and sometimes the status quo is challenged.
