Hello
Today I went to check on my hens and two of my hens have injuries. One has a hard bump on her neck, which appears to be preventing her from moving her neck. I checked her out and the skin is yellow where the hard bump is. I am guessing she might have hit herself when flying off the roost. The other her has an equally hard bump on her leg. She moves around but kind of drags her leg. (Might have been bitten by an insect). I have clean the coop but not seen any insects.
I have had some experience with mareks and these lumps and dragging of the leg are not like the symptoms I have seen before.
My guess is that the both hit themselves and the bruises are turning hard. Does anyone know what treatment can I give them to make their skin and muscle not as hard. I will appreciate any input. Thank you!
