2 laying hens in Groton/Pepperell area

1 RIR and 1 Plymouth Barred Rock need a good home before the winter sets in. They are both docile and still laying. Please contact me if interested as I want to make sure they go to a good home.

How old are the birds? I noticed you said "still laying" so I was just wondering.

I honestly don't know. I got 4 of them at the beginning of the summer from someone who was making way for new chicks. They have been laying like crazy all summer. I recently lost 2 of them and don't want to keep just 2 for the winter. They have tags, so might say on there, but I've never looked.

I live in the Pepperell/Groton area and may be interested in the birds. Maybe I could first come see them and decide if they would fit in with my girls. I currently have 10, was recently looking into getting two more to make twelve. Thanks.
