I have 3 Guinea fowl. I just heard one making the female call for the first time this week. (Just a couple months old) I hear one making the female call while the other 2 chatter. Is it safe to presume only one is female then? If so, should I find another girl for the male? Or keep the three together? Right now they seem fine. I got them mostly for bug control so egg production isn't really that important to me.

As long as they are getting along and you do not care about reproduction, why mess with a good thing by messing with the pecking order?

Sourland, that's what I wondered. I'd read about 2 females and one male, but not the opposite. I didn't know if, as they got older, it would be an issue.
