2 month button quail colors/sexing

I got three buttons that I was curious if you can tell the sex. One I believe is a red breasted female. The other two look like silver? Or silver mix? I’ve heard what I believe is the female sound. But I heard you can sex them at a young age.

Do any of the silvers have rust or pinkish feathers around the vent? That would be the sign of a male. The other option is to wait for eggs or crows.
They are only 2 months. When does thar develop? I don’t see any rust color but funny you say that because now I do on my silver male who is in another coop. He’s 5 months though

You should be seeing the start of that by 2 months. Buttons don't mature quite as fast as coturnix, but you should start seeing eggs in another couple of weeks from your hens.

If you have a large enough space (like an aviary) with lots of hiding places, you should be able to.
Thank you I do! It’s 7ft x 18in coop I put on a stand I used for bantams. Hopefully they will like it
