I have 20 banties that are just about 2 months old and a large portion of them ( all 10 sebrights) have "bare backs" looks like maybe they have just picked on one another? Maybe not enough space? They are in a 10 x 10 stall.
I also have 25 feeders cockerels in another pen and a few of them have the same problem. Am i not giving them enough space so they are just snacking on each other?
Any help greatly appreciated!!

Sounds like they have plenty of space. Get yourself some anti peck spray in the avian section at a pet store. The stuff I have is clear and tastes like bitter apples. Spray all the bare chicks by picking them up at night and coating the bare spots real good. You may hafta repeat in a few days, but that should calm the storm. Could be a diet deficiency and you should verify the protien amount in your feed. The banty chicks can have up to about 20% protien and the meat birds 30%. Good luck.........Pop
