Hey y'all, I'm trying to introduce my 2 month old rooster to my 4 month old hens, how long should it take? They're in the coop and the rooster is in a big dog crate next to the coop. And then they're all out and about together I supervise them together... how long should it take for the hens to "accept" him?

They are all babies at this point, and he's going to be picked on at first. Make sure there's plenty of space and extra feeders and waterers, and places for him to be out of sight, because of the age difference.
If you had more mature birds, especially an older cockerel, he'd be more able to fend for himself, but that's not true yet.

How many pullets are there?
How do they treat him while together?

Can you fit the crate into the coop so they can be nest to each other 24/7?

Yes! ...and he's a single so has not buddies. :(

FYI.....semantics, maybe, but can be important communication terms when discussing chicken behavior.
Female chickens are called pullets until one year of age, then they are called hens.
Male chickens are called cockerels until one year of age, then they are called cocks(or cockbirds or roosters).
Age in weeks or months is always a good thing to note
