Hi all! I am a new chickie baby mother. We purchased five bantams assorted from our local tractor supply two months ago. I’ve been able to identify all of the rest we have a Rhode Island red, a couple of beautiful Sebright’s, and one silkie. This friendly little guy has been a bit of an enigma however. His name is chicken Little. At least I think it’s a him (I feel like it’s a him, so I call him him). Any one have any ideas? I was thinking that Buff Brahmas look an awful lot like him, but he doesn’t have feathery feets. I attached pics of him at various ages for reference.

I’m pretty sure sebrights only come in two varieties: silver laced and golden laced. BUT it does have a similar body shape. It even looks similar to golden laced chicks. It might be a mix or really really really bad breeding.

Cute cockerel!
The body shape reminds me of a Serama/Sebright.
I guess going by comb type more likely Sebright.
Not good with breeds.
I have two Sebrights, and honestly could not tell the three apart when they were chicks. Chicken Little was a bit lighter. His comb is identical to the Sebright Roo I have.

This guy is meatier than my sebrights. Haha my Sebright boy is smaller/skinnier than him but is clearly the guy in charge. Chicken Little is just such an interesting guy. I try to do a reverse image search and I get all kinds of results for him.

Well isn't that a cutie. I would guess a boy at this point. Do you have any girls you can compare him to? If his comb is bigger and tail is longer is definitely a boy. Manners aren't always the best thing to go on. I have babies right now and my rooster is supper sweet while one of my chicks is willing to bite my finger off lol best of luck
