2 month old with crooked beak, Pics Added

Hi! I've been reading alot of the postings the past several days but this is my first time to join. We've been raising chicks for 3 years, the 1st group we incubated, got 11 out of 12! The second, now just over a year old are all ornamentals from a hatchery. The newbies are almost two weeks old, 6 americaunas from eggs from a friend and we added in 4 more from a mix of our own chickens. About a week ago I noticed cross beak on one Americauna, she is one of the largest, was actually the first to hatch and hatched early. I have read everything I could find, its mild right now, not worse not better. I am applying Penetran to her cheek twice a day on the side the bottom is pulling toward. I started Bioplasma (cell salts) in their water yesterday. Anybody have more advice for me? Shes thriving now, but I want her well. Anyone know exactly where you are supposed to apply the Penetran as far as her jawline?

We just noticed a week-old chick with a crossbeak as well. What is this that you applied? Did it help?

Im sorry to say it did not. I used Penetran, a (for humans) arthritis medicine, that supposedly actually gets absorbed into the muscles and causes it to relax, i also did the bioplasma and baby vitamins. I did this for a couple of weeks, and everyday it progressed more and made the little chick unhappy and sometimes matted in her feathers which got her pecked at a little by the other chicks. Her crossbeak is severe with the bottom beak completely turned sideways and that has allowed the top beak to fall downward.
But, on the upside she still manages to eat well and drink. I made the feeder they have here in one of the forums, made from pvc and it crooks up where she can stick her head in and scoop. I also have for her (now 9 weeks old) a water bowl, the type you hang in a dog cage, and i hang it on the cage wire, and she can scoop water. All the chicks use her feeder and water along with theirs. She is still one of the largest birds and has beautiful coloring, I feel she will always have to eat crumbles, but we shall see as I'm getting ready to introduce pellets to the others. If I give them a snack or corn I put some into her feeder and hope she'll get it when she scoops her food so she can have some, too. Same with grit, I use the baby grit. Good Luck.
