2 new flock questions

i can not and will not choose between the buffs and the black giants, so i am makeing 2 seperate flocks. and need run ideals. for 4 jersey giants and the 4 buffs, i want seperate flocks becasue i want a roo of each and doubt the can get a long. so what is a decent size run for them, or if i could try to let the roos get along, what is the size, that they could both be happy with their hens. there coop will only be big enough for sleeping and egg laying since i live in NC and I was told it would be fine since they are a hardy breed

seperate I would say 6x7 and double if together, I did 10 sq feet per bird or as close as you can especially if not free range..Also they might get along lots get along good enough.

they will free range every other day, one day my leghorns, then my heavy birds the next.. i guess i will try, been thinking of make a bigger run and boarding part up and making that the coop. runs are easy, but i suck at heavy carpentry, my mind is open and sky is the limit
