2 Pekin Ducks one Drake

Hello, I have 3 ducklings about 3 weeks old and it looks like I have two girls and one drake, will this be ok? I’m considering rehoming him because im worried about over breeding and babies would I be ok keeping him or will I need to find him a new home?

If he is your only drake then 2 girls will be fine

You don’t have to have babies
If you collect the eggs each morning and they are never sat on or incubated you won’t have babies
With one drake he isn’t having to compete
2 girls will be fine
One of my boys only ever mates 2 of the 10 girls
Over mate happens more so when there is more boys you need higher ratio
