I am a first time chicken owner and I purchase 4 young pullets. Or so I had hoped. I have a black Orpington named Matilda, a white polish named Duckie/Daisy, and 2 silkie/polishes named Chili and Cholo. My 4 year old niece named them. They are ranging between 8-10 weeks now, and one of the silkie/polish chicks displays more quirky behavior. Always picking fights with the others. I’ve only had em for a couple weeks so at first I chalked it up to them just establishing their new pecking order. But yesterday I noticed that this chick has what appear to be wattles and possibly some saddle feathers, the other polish/Silkie does not have the waffles as far as I can tell and they are exactly the same size as of right now. Can anyone help and give me their opinion? I am open to keeping 1 rooster as I live on lots of wooded acreage and there are predators. I know my Orpington is a hen, but as for the other 3 - I can’t tell. Thanks in advance! :)

I see 1 roo.
That’s what I’m leaning towards as well. The polish/silkie with a few random black feathers near their tail. Last night when I was locking them in their coop I noticed that chick circled the coop several times after the rest of them had already gone in there. Is that normal rooster behavior at this age?

Not really.
