I'm building my ducks their outside enclosure this weekend and wanted to know some things. 1, do my ducks need grit since the soil where I live is basically sand and my ducks eat it without being shown? 2, I saw chicken treats (big blocks of meal worms and stuff) at tractor supply. Can ducks eat this too? Do they like to?
Thank you!

As far as mealworms go my ducks go nuts for it! I never seen them move so fast then when I toss some mealworms in their pool. I don't know about the blocks I just have a bag I use for my blue birds and chickens and now ducks. The ducks need grit from what I keep reading of they have anything other than their regular crumble feed that is water soluble.
