They might, they might not.
It's not about numbers of males:females.....
....but the demeanor's of the birds involved,
and sometimes the environment in which they live.
Multiple males comes with a competition factor,
which can bring out the worst of all their behaviors.
You can try it, but be ready with a place to isolate one(or both) cockerels,
cause when it goes sideways it can happen fast.
My 2 cockerels caused chaos chasing each other, chasing the pullets, running from the hens. I sold one, and there was immediate peace. That was 4 months ago, and everyone is quite happy.
