Can't you just rehome one or both?
I don't know of any vet that caponizes cockerels.

Caponizing is typically done when they are a lot younger than 7 months. There are a lot of complications and problems that can arise when operating on a small animal as well. I would advise to re-home one or both instead of surgery.

Realistically you can't. Caponizing them at this age is risky and could very well result in their deaths.

Other options are to make them their own bachelor pad separate from the hens, rehome them, or eat them.
