I just went to check on my chicks, and noticed one of my broilers is limping, I picked her up, and it seems her leg may be dislocated. She's mostly laying down, when I hold her on her back there is a lump near the middle of her belly that moves a bit.
There are 29 layers and 16 broilers in the pen, all 2 weeks old. The layers can jump onto the board and get into the rest of the coop, which is 8x12, the pen is just under 1/2 and I've just moved the board to give them all access to the whole coop.
I lost one yesterday, due to the heat, I think, but it was crazy hot here yesterday, I went in to bring them fresh cold water and he was dead in the corner.
